History of the eibe company
The carpentering Eichinger was mentioned in the rectory archives of the town of Röttingen in 1438 for the first time. Since then it has been handed down, maintained and expanded from generation to generation. In 1970 the company Hartmut Eichinger was formed from this traditional carpentering. In 1975 the company was renamed eibe.
Since 01.01.2005 owner Tilo Eichinger.

Since 1971 eibe products have repeatedly received nationally and internationally recognised awards. Among others eibe received several silver and bronze awards on the Worlddidac, also "if-Design Award for Outstanding Design" and "Federal Award for Design".

The beginning of series of awards formed at that time the eibe gymnastic equipment system which received the Federal Award for Design from the Federal Minister for Economy and Finance in 1971. Decisive was the felicitous connection of function and design and the fact that all individual parts of the gymnastic equipment system are combinable with each other.

Today the company is established as one of the leading manufacturers of complete kindergarten furnishing, school furnishing and playground equipment.
