Play equipment safety is one of the 4 foundations (safety, environment, quality, play value) for eibe outdoor play equipment and accordingly, eibe outdoor play equipment fulfils the norms:
- DIN EN 1176 "Playground Equipment and Playground Terrain" as well as the old
- DIN EN 1177 "Impact-Attenuating Playground Terrain"
So that we can guarantee these fundamental prerequisites, continual dialogue and collaboration with the TÜV is a pre-requisite from the commission for product development through to the release of the series.
A) Design, Planning
- Target Groups, User-Orientation
B) Construction
- Principle diagram in 3D with a subsequent assessment of the statics
- Testing of trap areas in digital equipment
- Coordination with the TÜV, especially for the proposed equipment development
C) Modelling
- Up to 1:1 on a prototype site
- Test phase as endurance test (696KB) for dynamically-stressed equipment
- View, evaluation of the functions model together with the TÜV on-site
D) Release
- Provide diagrams
- Provide article passport including Construction Manual
- Order certificate
This certificate authorises eibe to label equipment with the TÜV GS-symbol. You can therefore easily identify that the TÜV assessment has been successfully completed.
Manufacture is also monitored by TÜV after series-production readiness. In addition to the manufacturing processes according to EIN ISO EN 9001, adherence to special requirements at the production site as children’s play equipment manufacturer is also guaranteed.
