On February 11th, 2015 the "Evening of foreign trade – Lower Bavaria goes global" took place in Landshut including state minister Ms Aigner and our Hartmut Eichinger (founder of eibe) and Benjamin Eichinger (sales manager Export). In keeping with the motto " Lower Bavaria goes Global" the international networking of the regional economy stood in the centre on Wednesday evening. Besides 400 representatives of mostly medium-sized companies Bavaria’s Economics Minister Ilse Aigner set an example for the dynamic power of foreign trade.
Bavaria’s companies are represented worldwide and the export ratio is about 50%. However the international competition is constantly growing. Particularly because Bavaria is no low-wage country and has to compete with the whole world, a close cooperation between political and economical actors is important.
Also the obstacles of market development became the subject of controversial debate. That is why it was an especially important concern for eibe and Benjamin Eichinger to promote an open foreign policy and the possibility of cultural exports into countries such as Ukraine, Russia and Iran to support the peace process at the economic level.
