eibe keeps local history alive

Officially opened at the beginning of May, Cobtree Manor Park embraces all the local traditions of the past to provide a brand new, state-of-the-art playspace that Kentish folk can enjoy for decades. eibe played an integral part in the whole scheme and we are delighted that the response has been so positive.

Amanda Scott, Play Facilities Development Officer (Parks & Leisure) summed up the project’s impact on the community:

Maidstone Borough Council is thrilled with the overall success of the Cobtree Manor Park play area project. The bespoke design sits perfectly within the landscape and provides the immediate focal impact as you enter the park that we were looking for. We believe this will encourage all families from the local community to use the park and beyond that will become a popular destination site in the future.

“eibe have been a pleasure to work with, providing a collaborative approach to bringing the concept of Maidstone Zoo’s history alive for younger generations. With eibe’s support throughout the project this enabled all challenges to be met and the resulting outcome to be achieved. We now do have the ‘WOW’ factor for all families visiting the park!”
