What obstacles are there on the tough trail?
The Bigwall in Kitskensberg has everything the tough trail has to offer in terms of challenging obstacles, e.g.:
Warped Wall
“Take a run-up, push your foot against the wall and push yourself up. At the same time, grab the top edge and pull yourself up.” It may not work the first time, but with practice and perseverance, it's a great sense of achievement.
Overhang Steps
“Climb up and down using your arms and legs. Use all your muscles, body strength and grip strength to reach the next platform.” With the help of the handholds and a little practice, this obstacle is easy to overcome.
Climbing Walk
“Grasp the handle and swing gently back and forth. Use your whole body to gain more momentum. Concentrate and reach for the next handle. It's a little easier if you grasp the handle with both hands and cross your hands to reach the next handle.” Builds body tension and trains grip strength.
Slackline
“Balance on the rope. Use the hanging rope handles to find your balance. When you are ready, let go of the handle and stretch out your arms to maintain your balance.” Balance training that is really fun.
Freerunning Obstacles wie in der City
Climbing Cube, No-hands Rest and Free Solo – freerunning experiences like on walls, stairs and walls in the city. With practice, perseverance and creativity, the young people become real movement artists. It is not uncommon for an audience to gather around the tough trail to marvel at and applaud the cool moves of the kids. To mark the opening of the new tough trail in Kitskensberg, eibe Benelux invited guests to a freerunning training session with professionals. The enthusiastic playground visitors were shown helpful freerunning techniques by the professionals and were able to improve their skills quickly.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions about the tough trail fitness playground:
What is the intention behind the tough trail?
Motivating young people to exercise is more important than ever in the digital age. Inactive lifestyles are shaping the lives of young people. While exercise is still relatively important in childhood, the lack of exercise increases significantly from the age of 11 onwards. To counteract this unhealthy trend, we took a close look at the situation, needs and wishes of our kids and developed the tough trail.
Is the tough trail also suitable for children under the age of 10?
With its urban, stylish design, cool colour scheme, height of the equipment and challenging obstacles, the tough trail is aimed particularly at older children and teenagers. However, younger children are also magically attracted to the fitness playground and are motivated to try it out. The tough trail is a piece of play equipment and complies with the DIN EN 1176 playground equipment standard in terms of safety. It is in high demand for primary school playgrounds, where it is now also popular with pupils under the age of 10.
