A fascinating play journey through the world of a traditional woodworking craft
In 2019, the "Sawmill" play world, one of the largest adventure playgrounds in southern Germany, was opened.
Not only children's hearts beat faster at the sight of this fantastic play adventure world! The deceptively real-looking sawmill play area in the Tripsdrill theme park with its many detailed replicas of real sawmill technology is unique among themed play facilities and a masterpiece in terms of design, functionality and technical perfection. Another distinctive play attraction in the theme park that captivates and delights guests young and old.
Beaming faces, lots of "oohs", "ahhs" and "wows" at first sight and then there's no stopping them: in, up and off they go on their exciting journey of play and discovery through the fascinating world of the sawmill.
On a total of 1,400 m², around 250 play elements invite you on an adventurous discovery tour with countless exciting challenges for all age groups from 1 - 99 years. Climbing, balancing, shimmying, sliding, a large water and sand play area - the "Sawmill" play world offers everything that makes children, parents and grandparents happy. The large sawmill tower overlooks the surrounding park area at an incredible height of 15 metres. From there, adventurers big and small take off on a wonderful slide on the huge spiral tube slide at a platform height of almost eight metres. Another spectacular attraction of the adventure playground: A net bridge spans the play sawmill over ten metres and connects the play areas with each other.
The play journey through the adventure world seems limitless. Lovingly designed play elements such as a saw blade to crawl through, a wooden conveyor belt to climb over, a climbing tube made of wire and many other unique highlights provide the perfect backdrop for courageous climbing tours and inspire role play and social interaction. No one wants to leave so quickly! And the next visit is guaranteed to be in the pipeline...
