Next stop: Railway station Rookhus

All aboard! This is where the adventurous fantasy journey through the Wild West playground world of the Borchard's Rookhus family hotel in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District begins

An exceptional hotel complex with a special focus on the needs of families with children

The family hotel Borchard's Rookhus offers 4-star comfort and yet a relaxed and casual atmosphere for guests of all ages. Here, nothing goes without children. They get their money's worth with the huge range of play opportunities, entertainment, plenty of space and nature and the child-friendly facilities. Here they can satisfy their natural needs with play, fun and exercise to their heart's content. So much fun entertainment and well-organised childcare options for the kids ensures pure relaxation and recreation for the adult guests of the resort directly at Lake Labus in the Müritz National Park.

The Borchard family and team are passionate about hosting families with children. The guests feel and appreciate this in particular and are very happy to come back. And the next time they stay with the Borchards, there will certainly be something new to discover. With commitment and great ideas, the Rookhus is constantly investing in comfort and high-quality, educational play and entertainment facilities for young and old.

All kids aboard at the eibe Wild West adventure playground

In addition to the other great playgrounds by eibe on the extensive, natural hotel grounds, the newest play attraction is a Wild West playground world: At the Rookhus railway station, the playground express awaits the little travellers, taking them on an adventurous fantasy journey to the Wild West at Lake Labus. On the railway made of robust robinia wood, they can climb, crawl, think up fantastic travel stories with other adventurers or simply take a rest.

Real rails ahead, a level crossing with barriers and a (crawling) tunnel through a play hill are, together with the Rookhus Express and the station building, the lovingly designed backdrop that inspires children's imagination, encourages role play and movement and even delights adults. And to make the railway travel feeling really perfect, there is a musical ball next to the locomotive, which provides the appropriate train sounds by turning it manually. With a little skill and stamina, you can climb the tunnel hill via balance bollards and a balancing beam and then whizz down the wide slide on the opposite side.

A railway station in the Wild Playground West of course also needs a settlement for the little prairie inhabitants. A tepee village made of robinia wood can be climbed all around via ascents of various degrees of difficulty. The three climbing tepees are connected to each other with a challenging climbing net in the shape of a spider and a suspension bridge. The new eibe themed playground is literally a drawcard in the hotel prairie of Borchard's Rookhus!
