In the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen, nestled in a beautiful natural landscape at the foot of the Rhön, lies Aschach Castle, a popular excursion destination and one of the most beautiful architectural monuments in the region. Three exciting museums - including a school museum with a historic classroom - as well as the beautiful surroundings provide recreation with entertainment value and education with a fun factor.

The star among the play equipment on the museum playground is undoubtedly a lovingly designed play stagecoach that can be climbed on and whose shape is reminiscent of the real coach that still transports visitors from Bad Kissingen to Aschach Castle today.
Traveling in such a vehicle used to be quite arduous. Today's kids will also encounter many a challenge on the imposing climbing apparatus on the Aschach castle wall. In their imaginative role play, the children may encounter imponderables such as a broken wheel or a raid by robber gangs while climbing over the tricky balance ascent with skill and brains, climbing up the carriage trestle over the large wheel or casually hurtling down the slide. Traveling through the magical realm of fantasy is great fun.
Benches and a large seating area on the extensive grounds invite you to linger and have a picnic. The Aschach Castle adventure playground is not only open to museum visitors, but to all play enthusiasts at any time. A great excursion idea for children's groups and school classes!
